Nelson Museum

The Nelson Museum was formerly the home of Sir George England, Mayor and Member of Parliament, and a supporter of the Parliamentarian cause in the Civil War. It is 17th century, with an early 19th century Georgian façade. The museum illustrates Nelson's life, from his Norfolk childhood through to his famous battles and his tragic heroic death.
